About TOMS Wellness Clinic
Tom and Rodolfo bring together acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, structural integration, myofascial therapy and therapeutic bodywork. Their shared approach considers the whole person, communicates each treatment plan clearly and adapts care to the individual.
How we approach care
Each appointment begins with time to understand what you are experiencing and what matters to you.
Your care is considered in context and adapted to your needs, comfort and response.
We make space for questions and explain the proposed approach before treatment begins.
The practitioners
Two complementary clinical perspectives, united by thoughtful, individually tailored care.
01
Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Tom is trusted in the community as a practitioner known for a thorough, professional and patient-centred approach. He considers both the concerns a person presents with and the broader patterns that may be influencing their health, then develops an individually tailored plan of care.
Tom's clinical toolkit includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and therapeutic bodywork. He also incorporates traditional Tui Na, or Chinese medical massage, and cupping therapy where appropriate. These approaches may be used individually or together according to the person, their comfort and the goals discussed during consultation.
He prioritises clear, concise communication so clients understand the assessment, the proposed treatment pathway and the role they can play in their own care.
Tom completed academic and clinical training in both Australia and China. This dual educational background, together with two decades of practice, allows him to draw on traditional Chinese clinical experience while working within Australian professional and regulatory standards.
Tom is a member of AACMA and is registered with AHPRA.
02
Integrative Clinician
Rodolfo began his clinical career after graduating in Massage Therapy in 2004. His early work included international experience in the wellness sector, where he worked alongside physical therapists and osteopaths and continued to refine his manual assessment and treatment skills.
After returning to Australia in 2009, Rodolfo undertook formal study in traditional Chinese medicine at the Sydney Institute of TCM. He subsequently broadened his clinical approach through structural integration and myofascial techniques, bringing Eastern and hands-on treatment traditions into one considered framework.
Rodolfo's practice centres on viewing the individual as a connected whole rather than a collection of isolated areas. His work considers how structure, fascia, movement and the body's wider systems may interact, with treatment adapted to the person's presentation, comfort and goals.
His areas of focus include musculoskeletal and functional concerns, structural imbalance, myofascial restriction and manual approaches that support comfortable movement. His broader training also informs how he considers digestive and immune-health concerns within an individual, whole-person assessment.
Rodolfo is a member of ATMS.
